This season it’s not just natural colorways that are grabbing our attention: there’s acid yellow snake, electric blue tiger, and lime green zebra to consider. While those prints and materials (leather, faux fur, patent leather) and prints might scream 70s rock ‘n’ roll, the colorful shades give it a thoroughly modern refresh.

What about a leopard print dress with a long and flowy silhouette? Wear it with your favorite pair of ankle booties, a crossbody bag and maybe a hat for an effortless, very laid-back look. Throw over a knitted cardigan and you’re ready to go. Just make sure to stick to earthy, neutral tones (nothing as easy as this with animal prints – right?).

The Minimalist

A little bit of animal print can go a long way. Actually, the simpler and more monochromatic the rest of your look, the more that touch of animal print will pop. My tip: Snakeskin ankle boots. Could be the eye-catching element of an otherwise clean and simple outfit. Plus, they go great with all type of neutrals.
